Hey there, I'm Donna, a UX/UI designer based in San Diego, CA with a marketing background that's shaped how I think about design.
For the past 4+ years, I've managed websites and digital experiences for six food trade shows, where I learned that good design isn't just about looking polished. It's about making sure the right people find what they need, fast. Optimizing navigation, refreshing content strategy, figuring out why users were dropping off. That work quietly turned me into a UX thinker before I had the title to match, and it's what pushed me to take it further.
So I did. I completed a UX/UI bootcamp through DesignLab and a UX design gaming course through ELVTR, and I'm now actively building toward a product design role where I can combine research-driven thinking with the business instincts I've developed on the marketing side.
When I'm not designing, you'll find me with my three dogs, at a live music event, or catching the latest movie on opening weekend.
